Introducing the M-502 PRO Discrete Preamplifier/Equalizer
"I haven't heard anything this good since New York Record Plant Studio A. I'm using the M-502 PRO on Joe Perry and Brad Whitford's guitars for the new Aerosmith record. I am so happy to have that familiar sound back!"
-Jack Douglas Producer/Engineer
Based entirely on the famous Spectra Sonics 1020 Console of the late 1960s, the M-502 PRO allows for un-matched dynamic range, low noise, and distortion.
Roy Cicala Inspired
The concept and subsequent development of the M-502 was a collaborative effort between Spectra Sonics and Roy Cicala of Record Plant fame. Numerous Gold and Platinum releases from the 1970s and 1980s were engineered and or produced by Mr. Cicala. A majority of the time, these famous recordings were achieved at the controls of a Spectra Sonics 1020 Console.
